About

About us

We wanted to take the time to introduce ourselves and give you a bit of background information on us and explain the commitments we make to our clients.  Riverside Support Service Ltd is the coming together of like minded people who want to make a difference and make a change, not just for the service users but all the team involved. Every person has a right to live without fear, discrimination and judgement.

"We've seen first hand how people can be forgotten."

We take pride in the support we give to people and part of this is about doing more than the basic necessities. We wanted to create an inclusive environment to promote everyone's individuality and individual needs.  For us care and support isn’t just about helping maintain independence, its about promoting independence, self worth, self love and well-being. Of course those things are important but it's also about going that extra mile and going above and beyond, finding out about the person, their hobbies and interests, their likes and dislikes and looking at how we can support them to still do those things they love in a safe environment.

It's not just about existing but living as full a life as possible.

We are a team who empower one another to grow as individuals and embrace our individuality.

We are all individuals with individual needs. Our main aim at Riverside Support Service Ltd is to put YOU in charge of your support and in control from the start. The management team have all started from the bottom and worked their way up and so have years of knowledge and experience that we can, and endeavor to develop in order to provide the service people require.

Run Manager North Coast

Community Support Worker

I joined Riverside, because Riverside allows me to be myself and encourages me to make a difference within the care industry.

I am passionate about changing the narrative around mental health by showing that goals and aspirations can be achieved regardless.

In my personal time I love all things spooky! I enjoy spending time out in nature with my camera or simply at home with my husband and cats.

People have described me as fun, loving and a little bit mad which I take as a compliment because "all the best people are"

I’m originally from Sweden but now based in Cornwall with my partner and 5 year old daughter and 2 cats.  I love supporting people of all ages and have been for many years.

When I came across Riverside I really wanted to join as I admire their passion and great values.  A passion of mine is health and wellness.  To be able to support and coach people to find a healthier way of living , as we are all different with different needs and backgrounds.  We can always do smaller things to change our ways into a healthier direction for both body, mind and soul. sometimes we just need someone to talk to and get that support to actually take the first step and also to keep active.  With Riverside you can connect in a safe and comfortable way without feeling exposed or judged by anyone.

Anthony Devereux

He/Him

PA for Hannah and LIz

Hi there, I’m Anthony. I’m a young Cornish lad born and bred. I grew up in the fishing village of Flushing

and started working when I was 16. I have worked all over Cornwall doing various jobs, my first major job

being the manager of a local boat company. I lived outside of Cornwall for a little while doing a job as an

Executive PA for Babcock International based in Devonport but couldn't stay away too long! After

returning to Cornwall, I worked for the local harbour authorities before joining the Riverside family where I

assist in everything from Office administration to company software development. I’m a huge history nerd

and love reading when I’m not out on the water. I joined Riverside to be a part of an organisation that

really cares about its goals towards client care, where people are up for the challenge and there are

no half measures.
